Pixie Flower Birthday

I have made a birthday card with one of the pretty new Simon Says Stamp stencil/die sets, from their new Out of This World release!...
I am really loving the new stencils in this release!  What I especially like about this stencil set, is that it has a coordinating die to cut out the flowers that they make!  I originally made five different colors of flowers, but opted to use the pink, orange, and yellow flowers...
I die cut the flowers, layered them, adhered them to a panel that I had stamped an across-the-card birthday sentiment.  I popped up two of the flowers, and dotted enamel accents on the petal areas to give some extra pretty!  I popped up the panel on a card with a piece of striped  Sunny Studios paper.
  Here's a cloe up...
It's the last day of June, and the 4th is right after this wekend!  I hope you all have a wonderful weekend, but will be back before the 4th!  Take care!!

Mid Century Ethereal Plate

Another fun card, today, from Simon Says Stamp's new Out of This World release, a shiny, metallic
 birthday card!...
I used the cool new Mid Century Ethereal Plate die with all its wonderful shapes...thought they were would be wonderful layered on one side of a card.  I die cut in glossy black and in metallic gold and silver.  I layered all of the shapes that I would be using.  I also cut one vertical strip of the outline of the shapes for a guide for positioning of the pieces on the card.  I adhered them through the pattern and used a sentiment from a Simon stamp set, as well as a piece of glossy black cardstock as a vertical border.  Here's a close up...

I thought this turned out as a more guy type of card...with all the metallic, and black...then when I showed it to one of my daughers, she said the same thing... happy to have a happy birthday card that fits a guy, as I never seem to have any on hand!    Hope you are having a great week!!

Lava Lamp Stencil Set

I have used the cool new Simon Says Stamp Lava Lamp stencil set, from the new Out of This World release, to make a card and a piece of art to put in my craftroom to inspire me!...
For the card, it was my first attempt at inking this stencil, and I went with softer rainbow colors.  I brushed on the colors, let them dry, then die cut the CZ Design Happy Birthday OUTLINE of the die set, the lines of the stenciling being vertical.  Then...I die cut the actual sentiment from the outline.   I layered the sentiment and cut down and popped up the panel.  I added a sentiment from another of the new stamp sets from the release, and cut it out to shape...I thought "you rock" went with a lava lamp😁!  Here's a close up...

The second attempt at stenciling, I went with a bolder set of colors, and positioned it with the lines horizontal, and paired it with one of the new sentiment dies...
This stenciled piece made me so happy, that I knew I had to put it in a frame to keep in my craftroom to keep me smiling!  So...
The picture above, is not my craftroom, but for purposes of photographing, I took the picture of it in my den(and my craftroom is crazy right now!).  Here's a close up...
I love these stencil sets!  Having six stencils is the perfect number for a beautiful rainbow of color!!  And I love how it looks when theu all come together...the finished product is soooo cool!!  Hope you have a happy day!!

Little Sunflower Blossom

I have made a card with one of the beautiful new Simon Says Stamp dies, from their new Out of This World release, Little Sunflower Bloom...
This sunflower is a much smaller version of the Bountiful Sunflower Blossom, also in this release, my cards with that die are HERE!  I die cut the flower petals and center each twice, and adhered together.  I used a CZ Design sentiment die to showcase my "sun"flower!  I used a Simon polka dot stencil with some white embossing paste to make a background.  I framed the sunflower with some brown cardstock.  Here's a close up...
Hope you have a sunny day, wherever you are...even if there's no sun!!  Thank you so much for stopping by my blog today!!  Hugs!!  Lisa💗

Out of This World Blog Hop Day 2!

I am thrilled to be a part of Day 2 of Simon Says Stamp's  two days of Blog Hops on the Simon Blog, celebrating their newest release, Out of This World!  This truly is an "out of this world" release...there are SO many amazing stamps, dies, stencils, embossing folders, along with new inks and other accessories!  I have chosen to showcase the beautiful new Bountiful Sunflower die, using it three slightly different ways with different layouts, celebrating its lovely simplicity...
I made one sunflower traditional, one colorful, and one with softer sunflower colors!
This first one, I simply used a yellow and brown cardstocks. For all of the sunflowers, what I love about these Simon/Memory Box dies, is that they have die cut indents that make it perfect for easily adding dimension by gently bending the petals with your fingers...love the look it gives to these flowers!!  I used a Simon birthday sentiment stamp set for the sentiment, stamping all four of the sentiments separately, in my MISTI, starting with the bottom one and working my way UP.  It's much easier that way, as the sunflower is east to position...the sentiment not so much.  I also stamped the sentiment in brown to go with the sunflower.  Here's a closeup...
The second one, I went a little colorful!!...
I had an idea to give this beautiful big flower a rainbow of color, so I chose 13 different colors and colored both the top and bottom flower petals thirteen different colors.  I adhered them together, and added a black cardstock die cut center.  I used a sentiment from another Simon birthday sentiment stamp set!  Here's a close up...
The third one, I went a bit lighter and softer with the colors...
For this one, I used white cardstock die cut flowers, and colored them with two different yellow markers, and one lighter brown marker.  While looking around my craftroom, and waiting on a thought as to what to do with this beauty, I spied some old ribbon!  It went perfectly with the light brown of the flower's center, so I cut a piece, wrapped it around the panel, and taped it in the back.  I used am already stamped, embossed, and die cut sentiment, and adhered the panel to a mini slimline card.  I had yellow mini slimline envelopes, perfect!  Here's a close up...
Okay...I had SO much fun!!  My fun was above, your fun is below!!

Layered Perky Flower

I made a card this afternoon with the beautiful new Simon Says Stamp Layered Perky Flower die, from the new Out of This World release!...
I had already die cut the flower/leaves in white cardstock a few days ago.  I got out a yellow marker and a green one, and colored.  I used one of the white cut outs as a layer behind the colored ones.  Then I adhered the two sets of petals to each flower, and adhered to a card that I had stamped a sentiment from a the last release...sentiments are so huge to me, and this one just felt SO right for this flower, the font, size, shape, and especially the words!  I popped up the panel on a card and done!  Here's a close up...
There was the first of two blog hops today, over at the Simon Blog, and there will be another one tomorrow(can't wait to show you what I've made!)!  There will be lots of inspiration with all the new products ...hope you will check them out!!  Have a great weekend!!

Out of This World Release!

The Simon Says Stamp Out of This World release just came out today, and it is really...out of this world!!  I have been having such great fun with the new dies, stencils, embossing folders, and today, an adorable, and wonderful new stamp set, Happy Icons!...
This card was simply done.  I put each stamp in my MISTI, and stamped a couple times with the different colored inks, to get a good color on each image.  I then cut each of the squares from the csrdstock piece and adhered them to a piece of black glossy cardstock.  I cut both the squares and the glossy cardstocks very close, as I like the thin line look!  I added one of the sentiments from the set below the rectangle of icons.  Here's a close up...
This card makes me happy!
I hope you will check out the new release...it really is very cool!!  There will be blog hops at the Smon Blog tomorrow and Saturday(I'll be in that one!)...celebrating this new release...with LOTS of inspiration...hope you will hop along!!
Thanks for visiting me today!! Hugs!! Lisa

Sending Happy Thoughts Rainbow

I made a fun and simple card with Simon Says Stamp's Painted Rainbow cling stamp from their Dear
Friend release, along with a Simon sentiment stamp and coordinating die!...
I LOVE rainbows!!!  And I don't kmow about you, but I get really happy when I see a rainbow...so making a rainbow with stamps was happiness!  What made this rainbow so much fun, and so easy to make, is that every ring of this this cling rainbow stamp comes apart!  So, using my MISTI ( a MUST for doing this)...I removed the rings surrounding each ring, as I would stamp.  This made the stamping fast and easy!  I added some Tonic jewel drop and the sentiment, which I thought was PERFECT for my happy rainbow,  stamped with versamark and black embossed.  A tip:  if, after die cutting your embossed sentiment, the gloss is a bit dull, heat it up a second time, and the shine will come right back!  Here's a close up...
As this post is going up really late, I hope you find some happy tomorrow...or hey, any date you may read this post!  Thank you so very much for stopping by, I really appreciate it!
 Take care and hugs....Lisa

Trinity Happy Birthday

I have made a trinity of birthday cards with happy and fun stamps and dies from Trinity Stamps' newest June 2023 release...
This first one, I have used the adorable new Tardy Turtle stamp/die set!  My daughter recently received a tortoise, so I gave my turtle a more tortoise look with the browns.  I stamped, die cut, colored and layered both the turtle as well as the sentiment.  I love that the sentiments have dies, as well!  I used the Abstract Scratch Background stamp, stamped with versamark and clear embossed to add some interest.  I also used a glitter pen to add some fun to the ribbons of the presents.  Here's a close up...

The second one, I used another cute new stamp/die set, not yet released, but it is a freebie for orders of $100 or more, while supplies last(I've listed it below), Party Snake!...
I stamped, die cut and then colored and layered this balloon clad snake.  I added a stamped, die cut, and layered sentiment, and popped up over a stamped and then brushed on ink background, the same background as the first card!  Here's a close up...

The third one, I used the cute new stand alone Friendly Fish die!...
When I saw this fish, all I could think about was Rainbow Fish...so that's who I made him into!  I simply colored many of the scales with my glitter gel pen.  others, I colored with markers.  I blended color onto his face and fins, then again, gave the fins some glitter with my pen.  I used the Trinity Stamps Simply Sentimental-Happy coordinating dies for the sentiment.  I brushed the background with blue ink on white cardstock, then stamped the waves over the blue, with the cool new Wavy Lines Background!  I popped up my fish on the card, and done!  Here's a close up...
This new Trinity Stamps release is filled with wonderful fun...hope you will check it out!!

Trinity Stamps Treat Boxes

I have used some of the wonderful new Trinity Stamps products from their new June 2023 release, which also happens to celebrate their 5th Birthday!...
I have used the new Trinity Treat Box to make these adorable boxes for any occasion...mine, for a birthday and for Christmas!
For the birthday box, I used the Trinity Simply Sentimental Happy stamp set, and  a new Trinity background stamp to give the white cardstock some dimension and interest.  The stamp is not quite big enough for the entire box die, but I made sure that the parts that "show" would have the stamped images on them...it was large enough to cover all the important parts.  I embossed with clear embossing powder.  The flowers are from another of the stamp sets from the new release.  Here's a close up...
The Christmas box, I used the new Party Alphabet dies, die cut in red and and gold, and with some patterned paper for the box.  I wanted to show you what I put inside of my box, below...7 candies and a gift card!!  It is a perfect for a gift card, but with lots of room for some sweet candy, too!...
Here's a close up of both...
I hope you will check out the new release over at Trinity Stamps...there's a party going on over there, celebrating the new release with their birthday, too!
