Merry Christmas Holly

I  used one of the pretty new dies from the latest Simon Says Stamp release, Holly Fanfare, combined with a Simon sentiment and made another Christmas card...
I embossed the die's images onto the card panel to make adhering pieces onto the panel easier, then die cut the holly and berries in green and red.  I adhered one layer of each to the card, and glossy accented the berries.  The sentiment was stamped with versamark and gold embossed.  Here's a close up...
These holly dies are so invaluable for Christmas cards...have others to show you using the holly dies from today and yesterday...stay tuned:):)!!  Thanks for visiting me today!! Hugs!! Lisa

Joy to the WORLD

I used a couple My Favorite Thing dies to make a Christmas card using my favorite non tradtional Christmas colors...
I just discovered, while writing this post, that the My Favorite Things You Mean the World to Me die doesn't appear to be available any longer😞😞, but did see it on ebay😊😊!!  I used a circle die to cut he world out, and then I layered both the world and the "joy".  I used a sentiment from a Hero Arts set that finished this pretty "joy ".  The side striped panels are using the same color blue as the world and pinstriped with versamark and white embossed.  Here's a close up...
Ahhh...happiness...Thanks for visiting me today!! Hugs!! Lisa

Noel

I used one of the new Simon Says Stamp die sets and an older stamp set to make a card mixing traditional with kraft and gold...
I die cut the holly and layered, then stamped the sentiment with versamark and gold embossed  I adhered the leaves and berries to the card and adhered the kraft panel to a gold/kraft striped  piece of cardstock.  Here's a close up...

Brushed Background Cards

I have a couple cards to share with you today...one with new stamps and dies, the other with old, but both using my new Tonic blender brushes.  Mind you...these are my first attempts using them, but I DID have fun.  Both cards use stamps and dies from Simon Says Stamp...the first the new products from the latest release...
I die cut and layered the sentiment, stamped the background stamp, embossed in clear, and brushed on oxide ink.  The sentiment was also die cut from a piece of cardstock that had been swiped with the fired brick color, too.  Here's a close up...
The second card uses an older Simon background stamp as well as sentiment stamp.
The sentiment was embossed in gold and framed with a piece of gold cardstock and some wrapped gold twine for accents.  Here's a close up...
I have been very busy in my craft room and have lots of cards to share with you ...stay tuned...having such...great...fun!  Thanks for visiting me today!! Hugs!! Lisa

A Merry Christmas Wreath

I used the pretty new Simon Says Stamp Pine Needle Wreath and made the contemporary feel of the die into a more rustic and classic looking wreath...
I made a frame from 2 circle dies, and randomly adhered the pine needles of 2 die cut wreaths onto the frame.  I wrapped some medium weight twine around the wreath, added a Stained Glass greeting from a new Simon set of that name onto the card, and colored with colored pencil, then adhered the wreath to the card. Here's a close up...
As a last minute thought...I used Laurie Willison's Card Holder die to hang my wreath card from a gift bag...I had WANTED to use a kraft bag so the whole card popped, but didn't have any...(may put that pic up when I get some)...I thought this card would look so wonderful hanging from a bag, and then the wreath wouldn't get flattened, although it's pretty indescructable. Just wanted to show you...
Oh the versatility of dies...oh how I love them:)!!  Thanks for visiting me today!! Hugs!! Lisa

On a String Two Different Ways

I used the Simon Says Stamp On a String stamp and die set, a wonderful set designed for Christmas, and made two cards for everyday occasions with it!  The first...a birthday card...
I used the strings stamp, stamped with green ink, and the little flowers from the set, stamped in bright pink then die cut and layered the flowers.  I added a sentiment from one of my favorite sentiment stamp sets, Simon's Thoughtful Messages, stamped and embossed, and popped up the whole panel on a card.  Here's a closeup...

The second one, I chose to flip the strings and using the longer side of the stamp, stamped on both the top and bottom of the card, placing the sentiment in the middle of the card(the strings are not as long as an A2 card, otherwise)...
I used some striped paper to line each side of the card.  I added the enamel dots, glossy accented some of the hearts, then glittered the rest, then glossy accented the glittered hearts.  Here's a close up of the hearts...
...didn't know if you can see the glitter on some of the hearts??...a little glitter is fun!!...
I just wanted to show you that a set designed for Christmas can not only be wonderful for Christmas,  but for beyond, as well...I had so much fun!!!   Thanks for visiting me today!! Hugs!! Lisa

Pine Needle Wreath Under and Over

I used the pretty and versatile new Simon Says Stamp Pine Needle Wreath to make two cards, one with color ABOVE the white panel, this first one, the green is two layers BELOW the white panel...
I die cut the panel  then added two more white die cuts, and adhered before adding a piece of green cardstock under those layers.  I stamped the sentiment...another new pretty and versatile set from Simon, Stained Glass Greetings, in Simon Evergreen and colored with Prismacolor Pencils.  Added a touch more gold with my Pilot gold marker.  Added punched dots of gold...here's a closeup...

The second one, I die cut the wreath and didn't take the pieces out.  I simply added a green layer OVER the white, so this one is a tiny raised...
I die cut the sentiment with an older Simon die with some scrap patterned paper as well as a stamped sentiement from the Thoughtful Messages stamp set, and added a striped green panel at the bottom.  The dots around the wreath are from the same patterned paper as the sentiment...

I'm working on another wreath with this die...SUCH FUN!!!  Thanks for visiting me today!! Hugs!! Lisa
