In My Heart Blog Hop~Day 1!

I am so thrilled to be a part of Simon Says Stamp's Blog Hop, today, day one of two hops, celebrating their newest release, In My Heart, over at the Simon Blog!  I have chosen to use a couple adorable dies to make a couple cards to share with you today!...
This bunny die is so adorable!!  I die cut the bunny and it's flowers, and then assembled.  I was going for a daisy(if you know me, that's a given!), so I put three die cut petals together for each flower.  I also used the cool new picket fence die with some real wood cardstock(very old), and and older grassy edges die for the grass.  I thought of making the background blue, but with the layout of the fence and grass, the blue on all four sides just wouldn't have worked so well with this layout...so white it is...more CAS, anyway, which is me! I searched and searched for "the perfect sentiment", and although small...I think it works for my bunny and it's flowers!  Hmmm....what about with a Happy Mother's Day sentiment inside??!!
 Here's a close up...

The second one, I used the adorable duckling and some more daisies...
I used daisies from a die from the last release, and stems from yet another set of dies.  The sentiment is from a set I purchased, just because of the sentiment that is on this card...love it!
Here's a close up...
Oh, and I also put a small piece of sticky foam underneath his wing, to make it stand out a bit, for dimension...just wanted you to see...
Okay...as I always like to say, I had SO much fun making my card...love this bucket of daisies!!  My fun was above, your fun is below!

Simon is generously giving a $25 coupon to every stop on the hop from our comment sections, so the more hop blogs you comment on, the more chances you will have to win!  Winners will be chosen and posted on the Simon Blog on Wednesday, March 25th, so make sure you check the Simon Blog on the 25th , to see if you are a winner!!  If you are a winner, you can email Simon to claim your prize!
The list of participants in today's hop are listed below...
Just to let you know...as you read in the title of this post, this is day 1 of 2 blog hops, celebrating this release!  SO...there will be another blog hop tomorrow...and that gives you not only more projects with wonderful inspiration, but also more chances to win one of the $25 coupons from Simon!  Hope you will hop along and join the fun and inspiration! ALSO...don't forget the offer in the banner at the top of the post!  You will automatically receive the *not yet released* Beautiful Day stamp set, when you make any purchase from the In My Heart release!  The offer is only good until the end of the day on March 22nd, while supplies last, so don't wait!  Thank you so much for stopping by and "keep hopping"...hugs!

  5. Absolutely adorable cards !! I'm glad I don't have to choose a favorite between the two because each one is as cute as the other. The flower picking bunny is so sweet but so is that adorable little Duckling. Great job !!
