Spring Tulip Birthday

I have made a Springtime birthday card with a beautiful stamp from a sweet new Simon Says Stamp stamp and die set, from their Beautiful Moments release!...

Daisies are a favorite flower of mine, but tulips are a strong second.  My mom and dad always had a row of red tulips across the long white picket fence in the front of our house, and maybe a bit of nostalgia, mixed with a love, they are a favorite, and a wondefrful reminder of Spring!  I stamped, die cut and layered three of the tulip images.  I opted to put them behind a polka dotted panel, as plain just wasn't cutting it, and the polka dots just "looked right".  I used a super favorite sentiment stamp from another Simon stamp set...have used it ALOT!  I popped up the panels above and below the tulips.

Hope you are having a good day...it was literally freezing here in Virginia last night/this morning, some areas even had snow, when it was 85º yesterday!!  If you live in Virginia, please get out and vote...I got my ballot two days ago, and just took it to the post office this morning.  Voting has never been more important!  Thank you for visiting me today!!
