Lots of Love

I have two love filled cards to share with you, today!  I have used a pretty heart filled embossing folder that comes with two heart dies...from Simon Says Stamp's Beautiful Moments release...
For both of my cards, I used patterned paper, the first one, I was going for a kind of rainbow of colors.  I die cut the hearts, then embossed them with the folder.  I then embossed the panel with the folder, and adhered the hearts to the panel.  I stamped and die cut the sentiment from a new set from CZ Design, and adhered it to the panel.  I did dot the centers of the flowers on the largest heart with enamel dots.
Here's a close up...

The second one, simply the same hearts, done just a little bit differently...
I opted for pink colored papers for this card, die cutting to get different shades.  I chose another sentiment from the same set, and added some enamel dots to accent the hearts.  I popped the panel up on the card...Here's a close up...
My creating has been a bit on the slow side lately, I'd like to let you know why.  I have been healing from an unknown something that happened to me while I was sick in January with bronchitis.  My hands swelled and my hands, my wrists and upper arm muscles were in GREAT pain.  I went to Patient First, then the ER a couple days later, was put on steroids, and the swelling and some of the pain subsided.  (I've been trying to see a doctor, but my doctor retired in October and neglected to tell me, and a new doctor would not be able to see me until the end of this month).  The pain, however, has stuck.  Caring for Noah has meant doing things very differently, but I have managed.  The last couple days, I had an incredible breakthrough...don't laugh...I can now pull my pants up with my left hand and arm, again.  Before, I had to pull them up with my right hand, which, thankfully, has pretty much completely healed.  The left hand has been slow to recover, though, so this was a wonderful sign to me, that I am truly on the mend!!  We're talking since January, so I cannot begin to tell you how incredibly thankful I am that my hands and arms are healing!!  Cardmaking has been a bit kind of slow, especially with using my Big Shot being a bit difficult...so I am SO thankful, today, for healing!!  Hope your week has been going great, too, and that you will have a fantastic weekend!!
Thank you for visiting me today!! Hugs!! Lisa
