I have used the new Simon Says Stamp Scalloped Arches and Frames from their In My Heart release, to make a row of windows filled with tulips, birthday card...
I die cut the frames from the white panel and then die cut the scalloped pieces. I lined them with die cut foam, then popped up the frames on the panel. After running the top panel through my Big Shot three times, I needed to give the panel some texture to take from all the indents from die cutting(my acrylic panels are old), so I opted for an old PTI texture plate(canvas/linen). I used a couple stamps from the Budding Blossoms stamp/die set for the inside of the windows, and a sentiment from another stamp set.
Here's a close up...
I have put a second card here, that used the same tulips, oh how I love me some tulips, except now in a watering can, and framed with a polka dotted rectangular frame...
I used a stamp to make the polka dots, on gray cardstock, with white embossing powder. I wanted the flowers to be IN the can, so I slit the can with my exacto knife, right on the line, and placed the stamped flowers into the watering can. I added some Rainbow Splash enamel dots, and a sentiment from the same stamp set as the flowers. Here's a close up...
Hope your weekend is going good! Thanks so much, for visiting me today!! Hugs!! Lisa
