Blooming Wave...the Long and Short of It!

I used the pretty new Simon Says Stamp Blooming Wave die to make a few cards!  This border die is soooo needs nothing besides a sentiment!!  On the first one, I used the die as is, and made a card with the full border...
Below, I show you how I made the card with a part of the border die...I did the same for this first card.  I layered each of rhe flowers 3 times, the leaves twice.  I added some white Tonic Crystal drops in various sizes throughout the border.  I stamped a sentiment from the Thoughtful Messages stamp set with versamark and white embossed.  Here's a close up...
I then took and shortened the border, using only the middle section...
This is how I did it.  I die cut the border, then cut it into a strip, lightly adhered it to the card and used it as a template to place and adhere the flowers and leaves...
I layered these as well and used a smaller sentiment, from Bouquet of Thanks stamp set.  Here's a close up...
The third one, I did the same as the second one, this time on black, with a rainbow of flowers( you know me and rainbows!!)...
I used some green Tonic Crystal drops for this border, and I used the new My Favorite Things striped paper for the bottom of this last card( you ALSO KNOW I LOVE striped strips!!!!)...this was so much fun!!!!  Thanks for visiting me today!! Hugs!! Lisa

  1. I ALWAYS love your creations, you are the Queen of die cuts! These are gorgeous and the black one just pops! Absolutely love them! Cheers, Dotty

  2. LOVE all the versions! Just perfect!

  3. Love them all! What a fabulous die! xxx

  4. Very effective cards....and the die is so cute! BUT, what a lot of work stacking all those little tiny pieces and then adhering them correctly! One looks at the cards and sees "simple"'s anything BUT simple!

  5. Recognize your clean and elegant work all over..instagram, pintrest, blogger etc. Thank you for sharing.

  6. Gorgeous cards Lisa, love the look of this die, perfect with any sentiment I think, Cathy x

  7. Hi Lisa. Love your gorgeous clean and simple cards. X

  8. Lovely cards, Lisa. I think I'm partial to the white flowers on kraft. I love the strip of black and white striped paper at the bottom of the rainbow version. I knew you would like the My Favorite Things black and white striped paper pad! As always, love your CAS designs.

I so appreciate your comments...thank for taking the time to write:)!! Hugs!! Lisa
