A "Manly" Thank You

I had my final appointment with my knee surgeon yesterday!! Today is exactly 9 months since I fell and broke my knee cap...seems like yesterday!  I am pretty much back to normal...lots of stationary biking, and now my elliptical, too, my quad muscle has come back, which is a huge thing in recovery of knee surgery.  My doctor was such an encouragement to me, what a blessing it was to have been given him as my assigned doctor in the emergency room that day in June, I made a card to thank him for all he did and said to give me and my knee our healing!!!  A hard card to photograph, it's silver paper with a stenciled, black embossing pasted border...
The paper is from Michael's, the black paint is  Craft Smart acrylic, mixed with translucent paste.  Here's a close up...
Thanks for visiting me today!! Hugs!! Lisa

  6. Very nice! Its hard sometimes to come up with a new masculine card. This fits the bill perfectly.

  8. Lovely card. Very clever border. Did you stack up the word and use glossy accents on that? It seems to match the stenciling perfectly. Thanks for your great ideas!
