Happy Birthday, Nic!

My amazing son-in-law, Nic is having a birthday in April.  I try to make him a special birthday card every year...the last couple years it has been guitar related...he is a talented musician.  He is also a gifted craftsman/carpenter/woodworker!  Hannah, my daughter and Nic's wife, suggested I make his card with tools, this year.  Nic really wanted tickets to see Jerry Seinfeld for his birthday, only thing, the performance is 2 weeks before his birthday.  I got the tickets, surprising Nic along with a tool belt card to hold the tickets in last week...a very early birthday card and present...
This is the front of the card

I used a 12" piece of paper, scored at every 4" to make a 3 panel card.  I die cut stitched rectangles in 3 sizes, stamped with canvas stamp, folded and rounded the corners.  I die cut the belt from the smallest MFT horizontal stitched strip, which I die cut in the extended mode.  The tools are all MFT(layered and made with wood veneer, silver and black papers), the ruler is a Hero Arts stamp(folded like a tape measure)...
Here's a close up of the two back panels...
Interesting note**  I wasn't able to make a 12 " belt, as the only paper I had and liked for a belt was
8 1/2 x 11, so I made the belt 2 pieces, connecting them underneath one of the pocket's straps:):)
There ARE a lot of supplies, I had to pool from a bunch of stamps and dies, but was so easy to make!  Thanks for visiting me today!! Hugs!! Lisa
