Can't Resist a Daisy Die

The Hero Arts dies by Lia Griffith are actually Mums, but I've made them daisies... and I love these dies...I have a whole lot of flower dies, but these are some really pretty blooms!!  There is a big die and a smaller one, the first card used the large daisy(mum)!...
I die cut with textured Bazzill paper and layered.  The middle is from a set by MFT, Upsy Daisy, and the "Smile" sentiment is from Penny Black's Hooray die set!  Here's a close up of the flower...

The second one, I used the smaller die(still a good size), and put three of them together for a birthday bouquet:)!  I layered them, like the first, then ran through my big shot with a piece of burlap to give them some texture.  The sentiment is from Altenew...
The leaves and middles are from the set listed above, the stems are from another MFT die set.  Here's a close up of these flowers...
Ok...I am happy...daisies do that to me:):)!!  Thanks for visiting me today!! Hugs!! Lisa

Springtime Shapes with Pattern Swatches...Bunnies and Carrots

I've made a couple cards with the adorable new Simon Says Stamp Springtime Shapes dies from the new Reason  to Smile release, after stamping the cardstock with the new Pattern Swatches stamp set from the same new release...oh my...how cute...and how much fun!!!...
The bunnies' heads are so cute, die cut after using the floral swatch in four different colored inks!  I layered each bunny a few times for depth.   I used the new Gingham background stamp for the kraft card's background.  I inked the large stamp with Simon Khaki ink.  The sentiment is from a set from last year by Clearly Besotted, stamped with Versamark and white embossed.  Here's a close up of the bunnies...

The second card, I used the carrots from the Springtime Shapes die set and made some adorable carrots with some green and orange cardstock and some colored inks.  I layered both the tops and bottoms of the carrots before adhering to the card.  I used the same sentiment as the last card...
Ok...I thought these were so cute...
These stamps and dies are so cute and so much fun to work with...you can't help but make an adorable card with these shapes and swatches!!  Thanks for visiting me today!! Hugs!! Lisa

Sending Hugs and Prayers

Simon Says Stamp released it's Reason to Smile collection today!!  This release is filled with fun, lovely, and sweet stamps and dies!!   I have used a few of the products from this sweet new release to make some cards that truly make me smile...
I used the new Simon Churches dies, the new Gingham Background stamp, the Friendship Blooms stamp set and the older Holiday Shapes heart dies for my embellishments.  I used 3 different colors for my backgrounds...
I die cut the churches and hearts from wood veneer paper and layered.  I thought this church was so sweet, but used the hearts to give the "hugs" part of the sentiment some meaning:)!!  Here's the Willow colored one...
Each full size stamped card panel was able to make 2 gingham backgrounds, so I made 2 each of 3 colored cards...

Thanks for visiting me today!! Hugs!! Lisa

Simon Says Stamp Wednesday Challenge..Shake It Up!

wed-newchallenge-header
It's time for another  Simon Says Stamp Wednesday Challenge!!  These challenges continue to have me thinking outside the box, this week outside the bag:)!!
wed-designerspotlight-header
The challenge this week is Shake It Up, and We R Memory Keepers is the company being highlighted this week!  You can find all the details of the challenge over at the Simon Says Stamp Wednesday Challenge Blog .
I used the We R Memory Keepers Gift Bag Punch Board to make a gift bag.  I decided that along with my pretty bag, I'd make a "shake it up" tag filled with birthday flowers!...
I used a Simon Says Stamp Large Tag die along with a Stitched Square die to cut out the "window".  I used the Simon Says Stamp Mini Flowers and Leaves dies to fill that window.  The sentiment is a combo...the top sentiment is Simon Says Stamp, the bottom one from Altenew.
With a new challenge every week...hope you'll check this week's challenge out and join the fun!!
