So Thankful

I made a card of encouragement and love, with a stamp and die from Simon Says Stamp's Heart to Heart release,

This will go to a family member, and all my family knows about the Tulip tree in my backyard...the tree on this card reminds me so much of it.  Here's a pic I took of it last year...

It's gigantic(the tulip tree is one of the largest of the native trees of eastern North America).  When I saw this tree stamp from this Simon set, I KNEW I had to make a card with it.  Then, I found this sentiment from an older Simon set, and thought it perfect.  Interestingly enough, this tree was tiny, less than six feet tall when we moved into our house, so it grew up with me and my family.  I stamped, die cut and colored the image, then layered and adhered it to a mini slimline card panel.  Here's a close up... 

Today, and everyday, I am thankful for so much...especially my family!!  Hope you have a good day!!
