Poised Primula

I used one of the beautiful new Simon Says Stamp flower die sets, as well as the new rectangle die set, both from their new You Are My Favorite release, to make a birthday card!...

I used a piece of purple cardstock, yellow, as well as a piece of green cardstock, to make the flowers, middles, and stem/leaves.  I did, as I often do, lately, used a purple and green ink with a brush, to brush on some ink for accent/depth.  I adhered to a panel that I had cut from the new rectangle dies.  Then, I decided to frame the pretty flowers, so I used two of those dies, taped together. and die cut several, to make a layered frame.  I added an older sentiment under the frame, and done!  Here's a close up...

Simple in it's design, but if you know me, that's my favorite!  I love the simplicity of these flowers, and though I made less flowers, I doubled the petals on each flower...happiness!  Hope you are having a wonderful Wednesday!
