The sketch this week at CAS(E) this Sketch had 5 hexagons, and I couldn't see anything else...except a bit larger, centered, with flowers(you know me:)!!), here's the sketch and my card...
I had some hexagon "frames" I had tried on another card and didn't like, but I think they were just right for this sketch:). I had taken the Simon Says Stamp hexagon dies and die cut the middle ones then cut out the middles with the smallest hexagon die. NOTE...it appears the Simon dies were retired, so I have updated and linked to some My Favorite Things Hexagon dies. Just a tip, I used a small sized die cut hexagon made with a piece of thin paper and adhered it to the middle sized hexagon before die cutting the middles out to make sure they were centered. I layered each twice.
I die cut the My Favorite Thing flowers and leaves and hand drew the stems. The sentiment is from Simon Says Stamp, Flower Friend. What fun on a Saturday morning:)!! Thanks for visiting me today!!
Hugs!! Lisa
