Peace Love & Joy in Gold and Black

I used the new Simon Says Stamp Stained Glass Greetings stamp/die set to make a Christmas cards, one outlined in gold, the other outlined in black...
I stamped, embossed, die cut, colored and layered the sentiments.  I adhered them to a panel that I had stamped the Center Cut Kaleidoscope background stamp on with Simon Lipstick red ink, and stamped one of the set's sentiments at the bottom with versamark and gold embossed.  I popped up the whole panel onto a card with gold embossed stripes.  Here's a close up...
and another...loving these sentiments and this beautiful background stamp!!...

Here's the same card, except stamped with black ink and clear embossed...
...and a close up...
Having fun coloring this season!!...Thanks for visiting me today!! Hugs!! Lisa

  1. These are fabulous, Lisa! Your colors are gorgeous, and I love that each color of embossing added such a fantastic difference!

  2. Love your cards, Lisa. They are both beautiful, so there's no picking a favorite. I'm assuming you used a pinstripe stamp to create the lined edges? Love that touch. You are always so inspiring. Thanks for sharing.

  3. ? Two beautiful cards today! Did you use the My Favorite Things Pinstripe
Background stamp to make the gold and black border?

    1. Thank you for the confirmation. A small thing can make a big difference... like pinstripes.

  4. Separately they are both beautiful. But when comparing, the first one looks pale, like a lady that forgot her eyeliner😊 I love all the components. Wonderful mix.

  5. Wow, Lisa!! These 2 cards are really sharp!! Well done you!!

  6. love this- I bought the Stamp Set- but not the Die- Its out of stock- I see it really has to go together. Sigh....waiting
I am looking for the pinstripe stamp?

I so appreciate your comments...thank for taking the time to write:)!! Hugs!! Lisa
