Happy Winter Holidays

I was pulling out some of my dies out of the box from last year, and this "Winter" die and snowflake dies from Simon Says Stamp just looked like so much fun!!  I combined it with a brand new stamp set from Simon, Happy Christmas, to make a Winter Christmas card...
I die cut and layered the "Winter" and the snowflakes 3 times.  I stamped the sentiment with Versamark and white embossed.  Layered the patterned paper stitched panel a few times and adhered to kraft cardstock panel(it was a thicker, coarser piece of kraft cardstock from Michael's...I liked the texture!).  Here's a close up...
Love the kraft and blue with white!  Thanks for visiting me today!! Hugs!! Lisa

CAS(E) this Sketch...Snowflake Thanks

Another great sketch this week at CAS(E) this Sketch!  I've made a winter thank you card.  Here's my card and the sketch...

I used the Simon Says Stamp die, Snowflake Border, layered 4 times and then cut the patterned paper(AC Moore) with scissors along the curve of the actual die.  I popped up the striped panel on the kraft panel after stamping the sentiment from the Simon set, Thankful Hearts, with versamark and white embossing.  I loved how the curve of the sentiment followed the curve of the flakes and the font was sweet, too!  Here's a close up...
What a fun sketch...I'm sure I'll be using this layout on cards to come!!  Thanks for visiting me today!! Hugs!! Lisa

Merry Christmas with Backgrounds

Simple and somewhat simply made Christmas cards...that's what I'm all about.  I have had a bit of a Christmas "block"of late...despite Christmas movies and the chill in the air, creativity has been a bit "off"...but what to do when that happens...CREATE.  I HAVE, however, made a couple simple cards to share with you...
I used the Memory Box Jumbled Merry Christmas die for both cards.  I cut 1/2" strips of Doodlebug patterned paper and adhered them to some thin cardstock, then die cut.  The cool thing about doing this, is that with a 6" piece of patterned paper in 1/2" strips, you can actually die cut 3 Merry Christmases with the all the 6"adhered strips.  SO...you COULD adhere once and make 3 cards!
I used the Simon Says Stamp Whirl Background die and stamped the back-background with the Simon Says Stamp Diagonal Stripes background stamp with Unicorn white ink.  I layered the "Merry Christmas, and popped up the panel on the card.  I DID have enamel dots on this one, and rhinestone hearts on the one below, but opted for less is more, but it's a thought if you want more "bling" on your card.  Here's a close up...
The second one is more of the same, except for the first background, I used the new Simon Says Stamp Holiday Background stamp stamped with Versamark and clear embossed...
I used a green cardstock for the background, stamping the diagonals with the Unicorn ink, again.  Here's a close up...

One of a Kind

One more card for this week's CAS(E) this Sketch!...I was just having so much fun!!  Another snowflake, but done a little differently.  Here's my card and the sketch...

I DID layer the snowflake:)...the red and green patterned paper is from Doodlebug, the sentiment from Lil' Inker Designs.  I thought this sentiment was cool...could be ANYTHING inside the card...Happy Birthday, Merry Christmas, Thanks, I love you, Amazing you...you name it...not only the sketch, but this card holds endless possibilities!! Special occasions never stop!!   Here's a close up...
If you haven't already, hope you'll check out the challenge, it is SO MUCH FUN!!  Thanks for visiting me today!! Hugs!! Lisa

Simply Believe

Another card made with the wonderful new Simon Says Stamp Believe die!  This die is so much fun....so pretty and yet amazing in it's size and font!!  I combined it with another new Simon stamp and die combo,
I stamped and then die cut the branches.  I dotted them with Enamel Accents to give them a "berry Christmas" look and layered them each twice.  The sentiment is also layered, the sentiment in silver and the background in white.  Here's a close up...

Believe in Love

I made a card with a new sentiment die from Simon Says Stamp...Believe...LOVE...and a set of dies from last year...Holy Couple and Barn die set to make a Christmas card...
I layered everything and put the silver, black and red die cuts onto a piece of textured grey paper. The "in love" sentiment is from the wonderful new "Believe" stamp set.   Here's a close up...
On the inside, I used  a couple sentiments from the coordinating set of stamps from the Holy Couple dies, "Nativity" stamp set that went perfectly with the front of the card...
Wow...the last day of October...Thanksgiving and Christmas here we come!!  Thanks for visiting me today!! Hugs!! Lisa

Fall Flower Thanks

Another card made with the My Favorite Things Stitched Flower dies...this time a Fall bouquet...
I used  a variety of the stitched flowers in a variety of Fall colors, layered a couple times, along with a sentiment from the MFT stamp set, Geometric Greenery.  I also used the stitched rectangle die to give them a kind of frame.  Here's a close up...
Yes, I'll say it again...I LOVE these flower dies!!  Thanks for visiting me today!! Hugs!! Lisa
