I used a new <a href="https://www.simonsaysstamp.com"><b><span style="color: #e06666;">Simon Says Stamp</span></b></a> stamp/die set, as well as stencil, all from their new <a href="https://www.simonsaysstamp.com/collections/splendor"><b><span style="color: #e06666;">Splendor release</span></b></a>!...</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEijSIX8lI30nzpIN6tfVIxQAp6nxvSExVFNKh2285HJzVBDD2LiV3aKgSfzB5n3CggvsywpqGTxkBtPpdXasC4fJCWcoENPuQ-8vBh9gGGt6yG8qDgvcPif6xHTypDpl8eFkjVSvF64Ak15W4P9523bdbnBHoeio2EM2SL7FUrRVBeUzaHYfgdz41eM/s4032/IMG_9572_Fotor.jpg" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="4032" data-original-width="3024" height="640" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEijSIX8lI30nzpIN6tfVIxQAp6nxvSExVFNKh2285HJzVBDD2LiV3aKgSfzB5n3CggvsywpqGTxkBtPpdXasC4fJCWcoENPuQ-8vBh9gGGt6yG8qDgvcPif6xHTypDpl8eFkjVSvF64Ak15W4P9523bdbnBHoeio2EM2SL7FUrRVBeUzaHYfgdz41eM/w480-h640/IMG_9572_Fotor.jpg" width="480" /></a></div><div style="text-align: center;">I FIRST die cut the clovers and grass from white cardstock, with no stamped images. I did this, because with multi-layering stamps, I think....I think it is far easier to stamp the images and position them better with the die cut shapes, by starting with a blank die cut shape. I put a tiny bit of adhesive on the back of the die cut shape, placed the shape in my MISTI, and then positioned the stamp over the shape and stamped. I did that with the clovers and the grass. I then layered them several time, and popped up the grass. I stamped the sentiment. die cut, and layered. I adhered them all to a gray panel that I had brushed some light gray ink onto with a blender brush. I struggled so with a background for this card...and then I realized this stencil had JUST what I needed for my card...hearts and horseshoes!! Horseshoes for the first word of the sentiment, and hearts for the "love" in the sentiment...PERFECT!</div><div style="text-align: center;">Here's a close up...</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiLgNBhUASlLYmGuaYDIjm07q29n5CpGElsIaZv2ympH1Y_R2hx9jjfiwrizLt_YzbaHBDqrtgtp6DujGpbF8DlE7DQNK2rC4XXXeWCTV96vjqCeQK8terf8ELl4T-49iiL1iKWWtIDT-cuVlo9pkMszmXTIJOZ9F8YwhzSGEfpoAYkdI_HqNDKyRlL/s4032/IMG_9573_Fotor.jpg" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="4032" data-original-width="3024" height="400" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiLgNBhUASlLYmGuaYDIjm07q29n5CpGElsIaZv2ympH1Y_R2hx9jjfiwrizLt_YzbaHBDqrtgtp6DujGpbF8DlE7DQNK2rC4XXXeWCTV96vjqCeQK8terf8ELl4T-49iiL1iKWWtIDT-cuVlo9pkMszmXTIJOZ9F8YwhzSGEfpoAYkdI_HqNDKyRlL/w300-h400/IMG_9573_Fotor.jpg" width="300" /></a></div><div>Have to say...this was fun! I loved seeing it come together, as it was one of those cards that took lots of twists and turns before it felt like "me"! Hope your first full week of March is starting off great!</div><div style="text-align: center;">Thanks for visiting me today!!

I was kind of liking the thought of a daisy for my flower(I LOVE daisies!), and surrounded by blue skies...I actually like how the colors played out. I layered the butterfly pieces, and popped it up over a gray embossed square. I chose to adhere the butterfly to a square card...just like how it looked on this layout. I know alot of people don't do square cards, but....did you know...that the stamp you use for a card with thickness or embellishments, one that won't go through the postal machines, is the same stamp you can use on a square card?? Just FYI. I took some time away to spend the holidays with my family...it was wonderful...short, but wonderful! I am back with a card made with a new die set, and a background stamp from<a href="https://www.simonsaysstamp.com"><b><span style="color: #e06666;"> Simon Says Stamp's</span></b></a> <a href="https://www.simonsaysstamp.com/collections/smitten"><b><span style="color: #cc0000;">Smitten release</span></b></a>...</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhIyt7G1JdulM1h0e_d-tfiUO-_PeBkrVO-Qv2YZJCiL7mJXisVbGYmQG34-q7O6IjSaIN0zBC544SJB9aK1HCYin81_0cDPInCl5K4IxFxLJcV2yFGoC8EGS4T1JoD3FjK5pTuoHGxRNYUm9qTSW9Ga-lyNc5XB_FoUpDD93xNxYW_mKeXbMWYZVJk/s3017/Love%20Ya%20Tag,%20Flower%20Burst.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="3017" data-original-width="2538" height="640" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhIyt7G1JdulM1h0e_d-tfiUO-_PeBkrVO-Qv2YZJCiL7mJXisVbGYmQG34-q7O6IjSaIN0zBC544SJB9aK1HCYin81_0cDPInCl5K4IxFxLJcV2yFGoC8EGS4T1JoD3FjK5pTuoHGxRNYUm9qTSW9Ga-lyNc5XB_FoUpDD93xNxYW_mKeXbMWYZVJk/w538-h640/Love%20Ya%20Tag,%20Flower%20Burst.jpg" width="538" /></a></div><div style="text-align: center;">I used the adorable Love Ya Tag set, along with the Flower Burst cling stamp to make my card. I die cut the letters of all three words three times, and glued together. I adhered them to the die cut tag, that also had the die cut hearts filled with pink hearts of the same colors of pink as the sentiments. I added a ribbon, then adhered the tag to a stamped Flower Burst, with no colors...simply black and white! Thought it looked cool againt the black and white! I added the sentiment underneath, also in gold, and added enamel accents very lightly on all the dots of the tree.
