Paint the Town

I had an idea running around in my head...let it run on paper....
I used a city scape die from My Favorite Things and the top part of a sentiment from Penny Black's Paint the Town(masked the bottom of the sentiment) that I stamped with Versamark and white embossed, along with the Bright Ranger Alcohol inks that I dotted on a pad and swiped several times over the scape...here's what the pad looked like...
Added a piece of Pumkin Pie grosgrain ribbon...fun!!   The card measure 4" x 6".
Thanks for visiting me today!! Hugs!! Lisa

  4. It's beautiful! And a very good use for the alcohol inks. My Favorite Things has a die exactly like this one, too.

  11. Love it. I did something similar with my Cricut, cutting the cityscape out of red, and putting a red paint brush on it.

  14. Hi Colleen!! The sentiment is from a set from Penny Black called...Paint the Town...comes with a bunch of cute hedgehogs and hopefully I will use, but got for the sentiment(on sale at Joann's):!! What can I say... with black paper...computer generated would not have worked, and it was the ONLY stamp I could find with this wording..and I had to see my idea through to the end...I know CRAZY...but ALWAYS FUN:)!!
