Made this card with an "interesting" tool...
Has anyone ever ordered the two pack of Sizzix embossing folders and wondered what to do with these foam packaging pieces?...
Well, I decided to use one of them to store my pins and needles...
But being one who RARELY throws out ANYTHING with potential, decided over a week ago, to ink one up with some white ink and stamp it on some kraft paper. Had no idea what to do with the inked paper...but thought it looked kind of cool. I added a quote from Stampotique and a stamped on and colored vellum Papertrey Ink butterfly...layered on white bazzill card.
Thanks for visiting me today!! Hugs!! Lisa

Lisa, you have such a brain in your head, clever girl. Your "let's try this and see what happens" design looks totally like a cinder block wall, the beautiful quote written by a very talented graffiti artist, and the lovely butterfly paused and captured at just that moment in a photo. Wow!
ReplyDeleteLisa, what a great idea...I love the background....it is absolutely stunning. I am really bad about not saving/reusing things! You are showing me that I should!
ReplyDeleteThat is just like a cinder block wall! It looks so authentic, Tim Holtz will wish he came up with it! I love what you did with it on this card.
ReplyDeleteAmazing what you do with "trash".
ReplyDeleteSoooo clever!
Have a great day

This is fabulous! Love the breeze block wall, and the butterfly is beautiful. M x
ReplyDeleteWhat a fabulous idea!! Now I'm going to have to order some Sizzix to get some packaging materials!!!???
ReplyDeleteThat brick wall is right up my alley. I have to go find some foam now.
ReplyDeleteThat looks wonderful! I love to save stuff too; so many things have potential!!
ReplyDeleteWhat a fantastic idea! I have these little blocks, don't want to throw them away, but never found anything todo with them. The needle trick is perfect because I always loose my needles and waste tons of them. And the brick wall.....AMAZING!
ReplyDeleteThanks a million for the inspiration!
