Leafy Greens

I have made a couple cards with a beautiful new Simon Says Stamp stencil from their newest release, Shine On!...

This embossing folder's leaves are so pretty!  I sprayed some adhesive on the back of the stencil before using, as it has alot of detail, and so the stencil is intricate.  For the best results in brushing on ink, it helps to have the stencil steady, so the spray I used is listed below...it's a huge help!  I used two colors of green, the field, a lighter green for the first go round, then the stems and the base of the leaves with a darker green, kale.  I cut the leaves into two pieces, using the larger one for my first card, the smaller piece for my second card.   

I die cut the sentiment from silver cardstock and layered, then popped the panel up on a card.  Here's a close up...

I used a sympathy sentiment for this card...thought the leaves went perfectly with a sympathy card!  I used two enamel dots to add some dimension.  Here's a close up...
