I made a birthday card with a fun set of Simon Says Stamp dies, from their Always There release...
I looked up "fiesta colors", and these were one of the many choices that showed up. I played with a number of shades, and settled on the ones on this card. I layered each twice for some depth. I cut them in half, to fit on the card, and I adhered them together. I then added an enamel dot to each layer. I am really loving enamel dots, recently. Had gotten away from them, but love that they add just a little bit of bling and dimension to the card. Love, too, that I have SO many colors of dots...these were all from colored sets(I didn't have to color any with markers). I added a happy birthday sentiment to the blue background, and popped up the whole thing on a black paneled card. Here's a close up...
I don't know about your week, and where you live, but we got some MUCH needed rain today(could use a lot more, but will take what we can get!)...so it's been a great start to my week...hoping yours is going good, too! Please take care! Huge Hugs...thank you so much for stopping by my blog, today!! Lisa
