My mom was an avid giraffe lover...to put it mildly! I now have many of her giraffes all around my home. I recently discovered that there is a World Giraffe Day, so I will take the opportunity, every June 24th, to celebrate this beautiful animal...and my mom. I have used the newest very cute Simon Says Stamp giraffe die, from their Always There release, to make a card of encouragement, and was hoping for a little bit of humor, as well...

I die cut and colored some parts of the giraffe with markers, then layered. I poppped it up on a panel that I had brushed pastel blue ink onto a cloud stencil and then put a piece of die cut grass. I added a stamped sentiment, and then popped up the whole panel on a card. Here's a close up...
