The Stamping Village Birthdays

I saw The Stamping Village's Happy Birthday stamp set on Simon Says Stamp's store site, and had to have it!!  I LOVE the beautiful compilation of all these amazing sweet birthday stamps and the collaboration of the beautiful and amazing companies that came together to put this set into production!!  These twelve companies' statement...they prefer community, creativity and the joy of stamping,  to competition!  How cool is that?!!  And...if that weren't sweet enough, on the back of the packaging, they state that $5 from every stamp set purchased will go to The Dreaming Zebra Foundation.  They believe that all children, regardless of their financial circumstances, should have art education.  They provide art and music materials across the country!
I have used six of the twelve stamps, and in one night, made five birthday cards, such fun!!...
The stamps are all pretty much the same size, so layout was the only thing to think about with these cuties.  On every one of today's cards, I stamped, clear embossed,  then colored with Sharpie and Mark It markers.  I have to say, my clean and simple vibes were in such a happy place with these stamps...so easy to make a CAS card with them.  Some of these cards are do overs, my first cards were SO CAS, some of them stayed as simple as I originally made them, others, I decided to add some paper to the backgrounds.
Okay...the first one, I cut out by hand, the stamped sentiment.  I popped it up over a transparent emboss pasted card panel with confetti.  I used seven strips of paper for a background, making them the same colors and in the same order as the balloons.  I used a Wink of Stella brush marker and added some glitter to the balloons.  Here's a close up...
The second one, I colored the candles, and left this card simple...
I used the same markers, with an added lighter shade of each color on the candles.    I added glitter gel pen on the flames for added interest and popped up the candles on the card.  Here's a close up...
The third one, I used two of the stamps from the set.
The top sentiments and image are one stamp, the bottom sentiment is from another one of the images (I masked the image and simply used the sentiment...hey it really went with this stamp, too!)...
Again, this stamp, especially with the extra senttiment, had enough body to stamd alone on the card. I did put clear tonic drops on the balloon, for some added interest(I did that on all the cards, whether glitter, or gloss).  Here's a close up...
The fourth one, was a heart filled birthday card...
I colored the hearts in a rainbow, then had a thought to use some patterned paper as a backdrop for these sweet little hearts.  The Sunny Studio heart paper was perfect in color, and well... hearts!!  I cut the strips to fit the widths of each heart  on the border, and adhered them to paper in the order of the hearts on the border.  I thought this would keep eyes looking at the card, from getting distracted...it kind of flows! I added Tonic drops to each heart to give them some shine!   Here's a close up...
 And then the fifth card...
I loved this ladybug and the sentiment!  Super simple, I stamped, embossed, colored and glossed the lady bug.  I used a piece of polka dotted patterned paper for the border...DONE!!  Here's a close up...
Ok...this made my Clean and Simple heart sooooooo happy, these stamps are soooo wonderful, and  ...I had SUCH FUN!!!!
Thanks for visiting me today!! Hugs!! Lisa
