I Heart You

I had just a few moments of time to create in the last number of days...I pulled out a sweet die and set of stamps and made a rainbow of hearts...HAPPINESS!!...
I used the Simon Says Stamp Heart Stream die along with a sweet sentiment from the new set, Uplifting Sentiments stamp set.
I colored the hearts with Sharpie markers, then cut them out with scissors.  I adhered them to a white stream die cut, and then layered twice more.  I adhered to card with stamped sentiment, then added some enamel dots.  Here's a close up...
Hearts and rainbows...such happiness to MY heart...and I don't know about you, but I could use a little happiness in my heart today!!
Thanks for visiting me today!! Hugs!! Lisa

  5. My granddaughter would love to make this one - using sharpies is a good idea for her as it is 'grown up" crafting but easy and fun. I don't really understand how you did it. You said you cut out the hearts with scissors and then glued them to a white die cut. That makes since but the hearts are colored down their sides also so I don't understand. I've layered things before with the last layer being colored but you did something different and I'm trying to figure out how - it looks so good!

    1. Hi Mary! I hope I'm understanding your question...It may LOOK like the hearts are colored down the sides, but the only hearts that are colored, are the hearts on the top layer , the ones that were cut out. The other three layers are all totally white. Hope that makes sense...let me know:)!!
