I have used a die and impression plate from Simon Says Stamp's DieCember® release, to make a birthday card...
I die cut the wreath, then a number of the leaf pieces. I adhered the pieces to the back of the wreath and then adhered the flowers to it. I added some enamel dots to the flowers, and adhered the whole wreath to a gray panel that I had ran through the Weaving Plate. Funny thing happened...the plate also makes deep impressions in the cardstock, and when I took the gray cardstock out from the plate, one of the corners fell off...so I cut the other three off...really like it, though! What do you think? I also die cut the sentiment and layered. I added a "wishes" sentiment that I stamped on vellum and white embossed. I cut it out, and put under the "birthday". I popped up the whole panel on the card. Here's a close up...
