Merry Christmas with Backgrounds

Simple and somewhat simply made Christmas cards...that's what I'm all about.  I have had a bit of a Christmas "block"of late...despite Christmas movies and the chill in the air, creativity has been a bit "off"...but what to do when that happens...CREATE.  I HAVE, however, made a couple simple cards to share with you...
I used the Memory Box Jumbled Merry Christmas die for both cards.  I cut 1/2" strips of Doodlebug patterned paper and adhered them to some thin cardstock, then die cut.  The cool thing about doing this, is that with a 6" piece of patterned paper in 1/2" strips, you can actually die cut 3 Merry Christmases with the all the 6"adhered strips.  SO...you COULD adhere once and make 3 cards!
I used the Simon Says Stamp Whirl Background die and stamped the back-background with the Simon Says Stamp Diagonal Stripes background stamp with Unicorn white ink.  I layered the "Merry Christmas, and popped up the panel on the card.  I DID have enamel dots on this one, and rhinestone hearts on the one below, but opted for less is more, but it's a thought if you want more "bling" on your card.  Here's a close up...
The second one is more of the same, except for the first background, I used the new Simon Says Stamp Holiday Background stamp stamped with Versamark and clear embossed...
I used a green cardstock for the background, stamping the diagonals with the Unicorn ink, again.  Here's a close up...
Thanks for visiting me today!! Hugs!! Lisa
