Wishing Trees

Made a card using the sweet Wishing Trees die from Simon Says Stamp...
I chose 3 different shades of green papers and 3 different reds, combining with a deep layered row of pine trees die cut in gold and layered with white.  I used a piece of striped paper for the background and versamarked and gold embossed a sentiment from one of my favorite go-to Christmas sentiment stamp sets from Simon!  Here's a close up...
The gold metallic paper is from Michael's and the striped paper is from an Echo Park pack called Dots and Stripes Soda Fountain collection.  Thanks for visiting me today!! Hugs!! Lisa

  2. I ditto Maria's comment! I love the gold paired with the reds and greens. Just spectacular.

Thanks for your sweet encouraging words. Although I have always been in good health, this summer made me realize that I have been complacent. Now I am proactive in taking care of myself and family. I am thankful for this challenge that God has allowed me to face. He has made me better for it. It is a blessing. Hugs, Lisa!
