This week's challenge at Less is More is to use a frame somewhere in your design. Not sure I made a card that really shows well through a pic, but thought the idea was cool...
Used a butterfly from Hero Arts (Antique Engravings) and a sentiment from Papertrey Ink (Beautiful Blessings). I stamped the butterfly on black with versamark and white embossed. I stamped a third on a separate black paper with versamark and clear embossed. I colored with a blue and a purple prismacolor pencil and cut out. Made frame with a rectangular die and popped up over the butterflies. Here's a close up of the colored butterfly...
What can I say...I have a "thing" for butterflies...they are such amazing creatures...and symbolize a great deal for me, personally.., love them!! Thanks for visiting me today!!
Hugs!! Lisa
A-mazing Lisa!!! I'm in LOVE with this card! It's so striking, the contrast of the black and white looks fantastic. The butterflies have a lacy quality.
ReplyDeleteI love the black 'white space' it looks really dramatic with those gorgeous butterflies!
ReplyDeleteThanks so much
