I made a couple simple cards with the Falling Hearts die from Simon Says Stamp...thought it was perfect simply by itself with a sentiment...
Used 3 different shades of pink behind the kraft colored die cut paper and added a piece of a sentiment from SSS Just a Love Note. The second ... the sentiment from the SSS Talk Bubbles 2 set just made me think of a shiny gray paper for dreaming and made another with the same pinks underneath
Just in case you were wondering, I DID try it with white...didn't like the pop of colors that I saw with the kraft and gray...

These are gorgeous! And you're right - that die is so fabulous it doesn't need much embellishment! Best wishes for a happy new year, Lisa! :)

ReplyDeleteLisa, these are all gorgeous! Beautiful work!
ReplyDeleteLove these! I never know what to do with die cuts like these and so have never been tempted to buy one . . . I think that has just changed! LOL!
ReplyDeleteSo neat! I too didn't really know what to do with that die cut - but now I do :) I also love that you profiled it in 3 different cards to give us some great ideas. Love the hearts and the sentiments are so divine - goin' to have to put those on my wish list.
ReplyDeleteLove all three cards and now I need that die. :)
ReplyDeleteOH WOW! Love how these turned out, with the ombre effect too! Totally agree, the gray really pops the pinks. Fantastic combo!!
