Birthday Circle Die...Three Ways

I got this super cute and super fun Birthday Circle die from Simon Says Stamp and have three projects to show you the fun ways I used it...
The first one, I used my watercolor paper and paints and waterbrush to color the letters.  I layered the frame and die cut the cupcake with shiny silver paper (layered too) and used some embossing paste and sprinkles to adorn the cupcake:)!!  Here's a close up...

The second one, I cut the hole out of a piece of flowered patterned paper, used the die cut "Happy Birthday" around the cut out and adhered a  die cut flower into the aperture, popping up the flowered panel...
Here's a close up...

The third one, I used the Birthday Circle die as an adornment for a baby gift...
I sponged the color on this glossy white paper die cut...two colors, Simon Says Stamp Melon and Rosie Cheeks, and cut out a slightly larger circle of patterned paper for the background, using another Birthday Circle die cut for the pattern, so that it could be adhered to the back of the layered Melon/Rosie Cheeks Birthday Circle....
WHAT FUN!!!Thanks for visiting me today!! Hugs!! Lisa

Cards for Some Hunters

My husband requested a few thank you cards for some amazing friends of his who have been so kind to him...they're hunters!  I have made cards for them in the past...but having done deer, wanted something different...staying simple.  I used some of the very cool Simon Says Stamp woodgrain paper.  It's very thick and very white with an incredible embossed woodgrain pattern (much better than any embossed paper I have ever made!).  I used my Jumbled Thanks by Poppy Stamps along with some snippers to cut the die apart, so I could die cut the words side-by-side, and some distress ink to sponge/color the white paper, and made a few of these...
I chose the wood colored and a green card for a woodsy/hunting feel, the green paper is textured for some added interest.   YOU could use the wood with other colors for a cool "guy" card!   What I loved is how much like REAL wood this looked like when it was done.
Here's a close up...looks so cool IRL...

Welcome to Reverse Confetti's July Release Blog Hop!  Hope you've had some time, over the last few days, to check out the wonderful new products from this latest release!!....the July release is now available over at Reverse Confetti ...

...and today, I'm part of a blog hop to celebrate the "new arrivals"!!
You should have arrived here from the talented and amazing Heather Pulvirenti's blog!  You can visit the Reverse Confetti Blog to see the list of all the wonderful designers in today's blog hop, just in case you missed someone or experience a broken link!

I've got a couple "new arrival" cards to show you, the one above and one below, using the new Globe Confetti Cuts dies and coordinating sentiment stamps, My World! Here's a close up of the first card....
\
I die cut the globe for both cards out of wood veneer paper and layered.  Like yesterday's sneak card using this die, I LOVE having a map in the globe, so these are two more different maps...the one above is a sticker, the one below is a picture from the internet, copied with my printer.  The layout with this die and sentiments is perfect horizontal or, like below, vertical:)...

I have one more card to share with you...this one using the Posted Note sentiments and dies...
This one uses the same wood veneer paper I used for the globes, for the clipboard clip.  I stamped the sentiment in teal and die cut the three tiny hearts from the paper with the heart die from the Weather it Together Confetti Cuts dies.  I used another of the Weather or Dot {and Stripes} Quick Card Panels to layer my clipboard on.  LOVED the teal color and design of this paper, thought the clipboard and sentiment were so cool together...
Here's a list of all the new products I used on my cards today...

From here, the next stop on the hop is the creative and amazing, Lisa Henke !

Countdown to Confetti...Day Three!

Today is the final day of sneak peeks before the  Reverse Confetti July release tomorrow...
The card I've made today was made with the cool new set of stamps, My World, and Confetti Cuts dies, Globe!  What a very fun and versatile die and sentiments these are!!  I made this card thinking of my daughter who lives 700 miles away from me, in Nashville, TN.  I just LOVED using a map in this heart filled globe...the map in this globe was from a piece of scrapbook paper of the United States I found at Hobby Lobby.  Die cutting around the state of Tennessee, along with this sentiment from the set,  well...a perfect match to let my Hannah  know that I love her!!  I used woodgrain textured paper for the globe and layered it twice...
All the amazing stamps, dies and Quick Card panels will be availlable for purchase...
...that's Tomorrow:)!!

Countdown to Confetti...Day Two!

Today is Reverse Confetti's day two of three, in the countdown to the July release, over at the Reverse Confetti blog!  I will be sharing a couple cards I made using the two stamp sets and Confetti Cuts dies being sneak peeked today,  from the FIVE new stamp sets, SIX new Confetti Cuts dies and the new Quick Card panels being released ...

... on July 8th!!
The first card uses the Posted Note Sentiments stamp set and its coordinating Confetti Cuts dies, along with one of the new Weather or Dots {and Stripes) Quick Card Panels!   I LOVE the clip board die and these sentiments!!  I used wood veneer paper for my clip board (stained and layered), used some shiny silver paper for the clip, and used some lined patterned paper to stamp my sentiment on...

The second card uses the other set being sneaked today, You Are A Star stamp set and coordinating Confetti Cuts dies...
I stamped the star  with navy ink on a blue-green paper, stamped the sentiment from the Posted Note Sentiments stamp set and used another of the very cool Weather or Dots {and Stripes} Quick Card panels along with some twine I colored with my Prismacolor markers, so it's color matched the card.  Popped up the panel on Navy card.
 Ok...SO MUCH FUN, AGAIN!!
Here are pics of the new products I used on my cards:)!...
