...to the Stars and Back

I used the new Simon Says Stamp Stacked Stars die to make a make a heart of stars...
I wanted to do something a little different with this cool die, so I die cut three of them, adhered them together with only the bottom layer having the centers intact.  This is what the Stacked Star die looks like when die cut and stacked...
...I then cut them apart!  What I got were a whole bunch of outlined/layered stars!...
I originally put one layer around a cut out heart...
but my daughter thought it looked cuter with the heart filled in, so I made another 1/2 set of die cuts and filled in the heart.  I used a blue piece of patterned paper that had silver embossed stars on it...
...only thing is, I couldn't stamp on it, so I used a piece of vellum to cover the entire card, and stamped with versamark and silver embossed the sentiment...Lawn Fawn's Lucky Stars is my only set of star sentiments...but thought this one perfect for a heart filled with stars...

The first one I made, I DID make with just the outline of the stars in the shape of the heart...in rainbow with the same star sentiment from Lawn Fawn...
I used a stick on heart over the heart of the sentiment...
Well...talk about fun!!  Stars are so much fun to create with!!  Thanks for visiting me today!! Hugs!! Lisa
