The new Simon Says Stamp Among the Stars collection has a set of stamps/dies that are a summer delight, Warm Weather Animals! In that set is an adorable bear in swim trunks! I love summer, but I wanted to show a way that this summer bear could be made into an anytime bear. I put him in a frame, and hid his trunks😊! Here's my card and a pic of what he looks like WITH his trunks...
I stamped, die cut, colored and put tiny slits near his armpits. I slightly curved his arms to put him in a REAL position to give a hug, and paired this cutie with an older Simon sentiment from the Circle Friends stamp set. Here's a pic showing how I put some pop up squares behind his paws to pop them out a bit more than him, past the frame...
He's a cutie, alright!!...

Yes, Laura, I LOVE the small striped gray paper I used on this card, and on many of my cards! Don't know if this will help you, but I get it at Hobby Lobby...hope you have one near you:)!!
DeleteHey...brain fart...even if you don't have a Hobby Lobby near you, if you get a Pinstripe background stamp (MFT or Impression Obsession), you can make your own gray pinstriped background:)! The patterned paper is just a tiny bit easier...
