There's a party going on over at Simon Says Stamp's Blog today! Simon Says Stamp is celebrating their awesome yearly December release, DieCember®!! This is the release and month to celebrate dies and die cutting!
I have used two of the wonderful new dies from this amazing release, to make a Christmas card, as well as a birthday card!! Dies with wonderful diversity!!...
I have used the Jolly Birdie and Rustic Nest from the new release, along with an embossing folder and die cut stamped sentiment from older releases. I stamped the bird from white cardstock and colored him with markers, coloring to make him a bluebird. I adhered him into the nest, and adhered to the embossed panel, with the stamped and die cut sentiment! I then dotted the nest with white enamel accents, and sprinkled some sparkling snow glitter on the nest, Here's a close up...
The second one, I made simply into a birthday card...
I used a CZ Design die for the happy birthday. I die cut it in glossy black cardstock, and layered it. I colored the bird the same as the first (I love bluebirds!), and added an older sentiment under the bird and nest, to tie it all together. Here's a close up...
This is a party, and all the artists at the party are listed on the Simon Blog, so make sure you check out the Blog, to see who's at the party and where they are (blog, Facebook, Instagram...), join the fun, and be a part of the party!!
