Here's a close up of the shine of the paste with the ink! I also used Tonic Jewel drops to give the panels a little bling...

ReplyDeleteGorgeous!!! So, I'm wondering if this technique provides a different look than if you were to have ink blended and then used the translucent embossing paste? I wonder if the colors are more vibrant this way. I didn't think the Oxides would actually dye the dried embossing paste. Good to know! Thanks for sharing and pls comment if you tried it both ways or know what the difference would be. TY!!!
ReplyDeleteKaren, your comment got me thinking...it had been so long since I made these two cards, you are right...I used the inks FIRST, then covered with translucent paste!! I made these cards A WHILE ago, and the specifics got a bit hazy! I had done the technique I described on this post, on another card...
