I've made a card for this week's CAS(E) this Sketch! Here's my card and the sketch...
I used the sweet new Simon Says Stamp stamp/die set You Matter, along with their stitched Square dies for today's card.
I soooo wanted a pink, orange, black theme...but if you haven't found that out yet, things sometimes have a way of changing!! Oh...how many colors I tried. I even TRIED gray, but neither black nor gray were quite right. With a black "YOU", both the black and gray blended in to much...didn't allow the die cut sentiment to stand out...so the black square became yellow...
I loved Donna's card this week, so I felt as though I was in great company with these three colors! I layered and glossy accented the "You" and added a cut up sentiment atop the stamped background. Here's a close up...

ReplyDeleteLove this card. So perfect for so many people to receive. Can I ask you what color/ink you used for the background stamp? I am still looking for that “perfect” gray that is mellow yet doesn’t take over the decor on the card. Thank you so much in advance.
