I was at AC Moore the other day with my 50% off coupon for my Tombow refills, and found the Thank You punch by Martha Stewart...never having seen a total sentiment in a punch, well, I HAD to have it...refills had to wait for another day!! I now have scores of "thank you" sentiments on my desk in ALL colors, but had to show you my very first card...SO MUCH FUN!!...
I will say, the punch takes a bit of effort to punch...not for the weak...but LOVE having a smaller more graphic sentiment!! I layered each of the words 4 times for dimension...loved the THICK LOOK, then popped up the black panel on the white textured card...

Great card Lisa, love the coloured and layered sentiment. Imagine getting a sentiment all in one from a punch. Cant image how much strength it takes to use it. I had to give up on punches for that very reason. Have a couple here that I have to get my daughter to punch for me, ahh the ojys of getting older.

ReplyDeleteVery nice card!! I like how you layer your sentiments. I did this on a card of yours that I copied, and I really like how it adds dimension to the project, but I had trouble keeping glue off of my top layer. I was wondering...what type of adhesive do you use when you do this?
ReplyDeleteWow, I've seen this punch around Michaels for years and never thought I "needed it"! LOL!! I don't know if they even carry it anymore, but I will be on the lookout for it. Your card is wonderful, as usual!!!!!
