During this season of Thanksgiving, I'd like to take this opportunity to say thank you , and tell you how thankful I am for all of you! Thank you for being a part of my blog, for leaving comments and encouraging my heart!! Over the last 3+ years, this blog has been my creative outlet for my card making in the midst of my son's 24/7 care... my FUN passion!! Having you all be a part of my creative journey makes me smile!!!
My thanks and huge hugs to Heidi Klausing Crowl, the owner of Simon Says Stamp, for inviting me to be a part of the Simon Says Stamp Artist group nearly 2 years ago and a part of the Simon family!! I have been given, with great happiness, the ability to create with the amazing, wonderful Simon products...it's a dream come true, a company that really speaks to my creativity...I SO LOVE Simon Says Stamp!!! I am thankful for the opportunity to represent them through my blog!!

I googled Thanksgiving colors the other day and all my cards for the next 5 days will use the exact same colors... different images, layouts, cardstock, and sentiments:)! Here's today's card...
I used the new Line Shape dies from Simon as well as an older Simon sentiment from the Lots of Thanks set, that I masked and stamped... each letter individually. I then die cut each piece of the banner with the letter on it, and a separate die cut piece behind each letter that went over the twine. Then I masked the whole top of the sentiment and stamped the bottom below the banner on the card. Here's the sentiment...

Thanks for the chance to win...and yes, there's so much to be grateful for. For me, I'm blessed to be able to stay home with my 2 boys and homeschool them. I know that's not an option for many and I don't take that blessing lightly.

ReplyDeleteYour card is fantastic. I really love the colors and the simplicity of it - the sentiment says it all. I am so thankful for my grandchildren - they have taught me to slow down and enjoy life. I would say before they were born I was so uptight and anal and now I am learning to enjoy every minute with them and I have had to learn that the house will get messy and I can clean it up later. Thank you for posting each day - I love to see what others create and how inspiring other's cards are to get me motivated to create.

Love thanksgiving colors and fall colors! They remind me of when I used to live in the east coast! As much as I like the changing seasons of the east I'm kinda spoiled now with "perfect" California weather! So today I'm thankful for my Cali weather!!!

BEAUTIFUL banners - what another lovely card! I am thankful today for extended family, for the parents we still have, my 100 year old grandma, brothers, sisters, cousins, nieces, nephews...and the father-in-law that we are still grieving after 2 months - so thankful for the time we had with him, even though missing him still hurts!

I'm thankful to have such beautiful inspiration for card making from blogs like yours when I've lost my mojo. I tried blogging for a year and was exhausted by the amount of work that it requires to take pics, upload them, watermark them (not sure I needed to), and then write about them. Not to mention linking to products or stores. And if you try to enter cards into challenges... phew, that is a job in it self.
