Gold Christmas Trees

I LOVE metallic paper this Christmas!!  I have used the Simon Winter Trees die a second time (you can see the first one HERE)...AGAIN, with metallic, this time with gold and nothing but gold...on the entire card...

I added a die cut star and "merry", both Simon Says Stamp, and layered all three things two times before adhering to the black bazzill card.  Here's a close up of the metallic...

One More Thankful Card

I have LOVED using the four fall colors on the last number of cards, just one more thankful card using a die from Papertrey Ink with some coordinating sentiment stamps...

I used various widths of stripes of the four colors, adhered onto a piece of print paper, and die cut.  I layered with three layers of paper and adhered to the stamped panel.  Here's a close up...

Thankful for YOU...Day 5 Giveaway!

Today, my last thankful card is flower filled...

 I used a Paper Smooches flower, leaf, and center dies, and cut strips of green for the stems.  I layered the outline of the flowers as well as their centers.   I tied the stems with twine before adhering the flowers onto the stems with little glue dots.  The sentiment is from Lawn Fawn.  Gotta say...these flowers make me happy:)!!

The Cutting Edge Challenge #15...Thankful

It's time to share the next Cutting Edge Challenge!   This will be the last Cutting Edge challenge...I have so appreciated the chance to be given a place on this amazing design team, thank you, Jackie for inviting me to a part of this challenge's team, and I have gotten to see your creative works, week after week...our team has so appreciated all your support and participation, and hope you will join us for this final challenge!!  We have another beautiful inspiration project, this one done by Amy Kolling...

Be inspired by Amy's card, and create a card that includes die cutting (all forms accepted).  There’s so much about her card to be inspired by, right?!  Here’s what I created:

I used the 3 strips, but made one wider, and 2 of them thinner.  I used a maple leaf die from Impression Obsession and not only used it to die cut the main leaf image, but embossed it to leave imprints on the card base.  The stitched strips are both from MFT from two different sets.  The sentiment is from Simon Says Stamp.  Here's a close up...

Thankful for YOU...Day 4 Giveaway!

Today's thankful card  has taken a leave from leaves and gone to the heart...an Impression Obsession Heart die and another sentiment from the Simon Says Stamp Lots of Thanks set from the last 3 days...

I die cut one of the heart of hearts die and added dots of glossy accents to the backs of the hearts and attached them to the white card stock.  I then die cut the heart of hearts in each of the 4 colors and adhered a random colored single heart  onto each of the white hearts.  Here's a close up...

Thankful for YOU...Day 3 Giveaway!

Today, my card uses the same sentiment as the cards of the last 2 days, and maple leaves, but much smaller leaf dies than the maple leaves used yesterday...

Here's a close up of the detail on the leaves...

The sentiment is from Simon Says Stamp, the maple leaf die is Impression Obsession.  I layered the leaves but REALLY popped up the panels on either side of the leaves.

Thankful for YOU...Day 2 Giveaway!

Today my Thankful for YOU card uses the same sentiment as yesterday...today used as a stamp amidst a row of maple leaves...

The maple leaf border is from Poppy Stamps, the sentiment from Simon Says Stamp:)!  I scored the lines in the leaves with a scoreboard.  Popped up the white panel.

Thankful For You...Day 1 Giveaway!

During this season of Thanksgiving, I'd like to take this opportunity to say thank you , and tell you how thankful I am for all of you!  Thank you for being a part of my blog, for leaving comments and encouraging my heart!! Over the last 3+ years, this blog has been my creative outlet for my card making in the midst of my son's 24/7 care... my FUN passion!!  Having you all be a part of my creative journey makes me smile!!!

My thanks and huge hugs to Heidi Klausing Crowl, the owner of Simon Says Stamp, for inviting me to be a part of the Simon Says Stamp Artist group nearly 2 years ago and a part of the Simon family!!  I have been given, with great happiness, the ability to create with the amazing, wonderful Simon products...it's a dream come true, a company that really speaks to my creativity...I SO LOVE Simon Says Stamp!!!  I am thankful for the opportunity to represent them through my blog!!

I googled Thanksgiving colors the other day and all my cards for the next 5 days will use the exact same colors... different images, layouts, cardstock, and sentiments:)!  Here's today's card...

I used the new Line Shape dies from Simon as well as an older Simon sentiment from the Lots of Thanks set,  that I masked and stamped... each letter individually.  I then die cut each piece of the banner with the letter on it, and a separate die cut piece behind each letter that went over the twine.  Then I masked the whole top of the sentiment and stamped the bottom below the banner on the card.  Here's the sentiment...

Cool how you can make  sentiment into a whole card:)... and here's today's giveaway...
