Leprechauns

I'm almost 1/2 Irish, so celebrating St. Patrick's Day is a must...corn beef and cabbage every year on St. Patrick's Day!  But...even if you're not Irish, you can still celebrate with those of us who are...it's for everyone!!  I have used the adorable new Simon Says Stamp Leprechaun die from their Love You, Too release, to make a couple cards for the the upcoming Irish holiday...
The first thing I did was to die cut one of the leprechaun background die and one with the image.  I put adhesive on the background die cut, then carefully placed it to the back of the die cut with all the pieces....
This way, I had a "picture" of the leprechaun and where each piece would go.  Having just the background, leaves too much room for guessing and being "off" a bit.  After I had the two adhered together, I then put adhesive all over the die cut on top, the one with the image.  This made it possible to put each die cut piece into perfect position, without having to adhere each individual piece(and some of the pieces are small, so this was helpful and kind of necessary).  I adhered this little guy to a panel stenciled with clovers from the new Simon stencil of the same name, and a new CZ Design sentiment strip, both from the Love You, Too release.  Here's a close up...
I had intended to put my second leprechaun in front of a rainbow, but just didn't work for me, so I went in a different direction...
I used the same stencil as the first card, but this time using it to emboss the panel instead of stencil.  I also used the "luck" from the CZ Design Good Luck die, along with the same sentiment strip as the first, minus the "luck".  Here's a close up...
Hope this post finds you well...hope you have a great weekend!
Thanks so much, for visiting me today!! Hugs!! Lisa
