Floral Burst Collage...Bold and Pastel

I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE, the new Floral Burst Collage die from Simon Says Stamp!!  I made two  cards simply using the die diagonally on the card...
I embossed the die onto a white cardstock panel.  I then die cut the flowers from more white cardstock, and adhered the flower petals over the embossed flower panel.  I then die cut the flowers from four shades of purple paint chips, and adhered them over the white flowers.  I added a sentiment from the beautiful Simon Says Stamp sentiment stamp set, Thoughtful Messages...love this set, too!!  I dotted the flowers with some purple enamel dots.  Here's a close up...
I made a second card much like the first, but in pastel and with a layer of glossy accents over each flower petal (truth time... I got messy with the glue and there were too many dried glue spots on the petals, so I COATED them with glue to cover them...😆😆)...oh how I love card making....there are so many cool ways to cover up how uncool you are!!
 Here's a close up...
Oh my...did I tell you, I really love this die??  MORE to come with this one!!!....Thanks for visiting me today!! Hugs!! Lisa

Concord & 9th...Petals and Pallets...In a Bunch or Solo

Today is my last Friday as guest designer for Concord & 9th...I have had SUCH GREAT FUN creating with the stamps and dies from this month's release!!!  Thank you so much Angie, for inviting me to design for Concord & 9th this month, it has been an honor!!
Today, I am showcasing the stamp and die bundle, Petals and Pallets.  I am in LOVE with this set....it is beautiful!!!
I die cut the pallet in dark gray, then stamped white ink over the die cut.  I used my MISTI and stamped the flowers.  I stamped them with yellow, twice, then sponged some orange ink onto the middle of the stamp, stamping in orange a couple time on three of the flowers.  The other two flowers, I sponged and stamped in the same yellow, only made the middle a tiny darker.  I layered the flowers, then added stamped, die cut, and layered leaves and two of the sentiments.  Here's a close up...
I was so in love with this particular flower, I just had to see it as a solo flower...
I used the same method as above, with the MISTI to stamp the flower, then stamped and die cut the leaves, and stem stamp(I hand cut that with scissors).  I layered all the pieces, and used a pretty sentiment stamp from the new set, Flower Turnabout.  I adhered the flower and stamped the sentiment onto a panel that I had stamped the woodgrain pieces from the stamp set onto in a light beige...for just a "feel" of woodgrain.  Here's a close up...
Ahhh.....I just love pretty flowers!!!!!!  You will be seeing these stamps, again!!!!   It has been such fun...thanks again, Concord & 9th!!  And thanks for visiting me today!! Hugs!! Lisa

Today is a BIG DAY

I've made another card using a new die from the latest Simon Says Stamp release, One of a Kind.
I masked, then colored each word on the Big Day die cut individually, then masked all the words and colored the line with black ink.  I layered the die cut words.   I added  layered balloons from Simon dies that had been swiped with more of the same colored inks as the words.  I used a Simon graph background stamp and used versa mark and clear embossing powder along with a paint brush to brush off some of the squares, to make a fun background.  I dotted the card with enamel dots to match the color of the words, to finish the card.  Here's a close up...
Such a fun die, with so many occassions that could fit a "BIG DAY"!  Thanks for visiting me today!! Hugs!! Lisa

Fingerprint Animals Cards

Oh my goodness...the new release over at Simon Says Stamp, One of a Kind, is amazing!!  I received the ADORABLE stamp set, Fingerprint Doodles and made a couple cards to show you some of the super cute animals and the cards you can make with them...
The set comes with semi-outlined bodies of some really cute animals.  It also comes with fingerprint stamps that fill in the bodies of the animals.  I used the elephant for my first card.  I stamped the outlines across the cardstock, and filled in with a gray colored ink.  I used a sentiment stamp from a retired Simon Says Stamp  set,  Sketchy Banner Greetings, stamped with versamark and white embossed.  I put them between textured, popped up panels.  Here's a close up...
The second one, I used the fish from the set along with one of the cute sentiments...
I stamped the fish on watercolor paper, then used Peerless ink to color in the water.  I added some Wink of Stella glitter to the fins of the fish for some fun.  Here's a pic that kind of shows you the glitter...
OK...these stamps may be little, but they are HUGE fun...I KNOW I will be making more cards with these cuties!!  Thanks for visiting me today!! Hugs!! Lisa
