On Edge Thank Yous

I used the new Simon Says Stamp On Edge Thank You die to make a couple fun thank you cards...
I die cut the Thank You from some patterned gingham paper, masked, then colored black with ink.  I then layered the "Thank You" and adhered to white card.  I added Glossy Accents to the letters...thought it added something to the sentiment!   I found a little dark pink rhinestone heart that fit perfectly into the "o" for a little added interest...

The second one was done very much like the first, but the patterned paper filled the whole card.  The only real difference between the two was that I added a rhinestone flower to the "o", adding a dot of Enamel Accents into the center of the flower...
Here's a close up...
OK....FUN!!  Thanks for visiting me today!! Hugs!! Lisa

Be...

I recently got the Be stamp set with matching dies from Papertrey Ink...I thought they were SO STINKIN cute, with so many possibilities!!  Here are just a couple cards I made with a couple of the ideas I had...
I think these sentiment stamps go so sweetly with these flowers!  I used a patterned paper for the "different" one, and paint chips for the remainder four flowers.  I I loved these colors together...
...then...I used the "Be" with another of the sentiments on the inside...
...SWEET!!

The second card, I used the different sized and shaped flowers from the stamp set, and die cut them...in my favorite color theme...RAINBOW...with another of the sentiments...
I die cut the "Be", layered it, and glossy accented it.  I also embossed the card with the Papertrey Ink Tin Types impression plate.  Added enamel dots to the layered flowers.  Here's a close up...
Don't be surprised if you see more of the possibilities of this set on my blog:)!!  Thanks for visiting me today!! Hugs!! Lisa

Daffodil Thanks

I've made a card with the new Simon Says Stamp Friendship stamp set...a set filled with beautiful daffodils and sentiment stamps!  I used watercolor paper and paints to color my single daffodil...
I colored a bit outside the lines in spots...to give it that "watercolor look".  I used my Simon Says Stamp Stitched Rectangle dies to give the card a little texture and interest, yet keep it simple and white.   Here's a close up...

Bold Lines Thanks

A quick post to show you a card I made using the new Confetti Cuts Bold Line die by Reverse Confetti...
I layered the Bold Line die and adhered a layered "thanks" from the Fancy Words Confetti Cuts dies (love these dies:)!)...and a Hoppin' Dots Quick Card Panel, cut with the Stamped Note Confetti Cuts die.  I used the Martha Stewart Scoreboard to make the lines in my card.  Here's a close up...
Here's a list of the Reverse Confetti Products I used on my card...

CAS(E) this Sketch 160...Rainbow Washi Birthday!

I used some washi tape and a Hero Arts sentiment to make a last minute entry into this week's CAS(E) this Sketch challenge!  Here's my card and the sketch...

This was a fast and fun card that was made by simply wrapping washi tape around a white panel.  I DID use one of my lined craft mats to make sure my tape was straight...lining up the card on the mat, then making sure that the tape lined up in the same place on both sides of the card panel.  I put the pink and orange on, then started from the bottom and put the 4 remaining colors on the panel.  I then cut out the untaped spot for the sentiment.  I popped up both the top and bottom, and put those panels on my card, using them to place my sentiment(an old Hero Arts stamp, Birthday Sayings CL340) perfectly.  Here's a close up...
This is a cool sketch...had lots of fun!!!  Thanks for visiting me today!! Hugs!! Lisa

Birthday Flowers

I used the new Simon Says Stamp Patterned Swatches stamp set for my patterned background for my flowers.  I used a flower punch by EK Success for my flower, and layered the flower 3 times...not adhering the whole flower to the one underneath...just attaching each with a tiny glue dot...thought these flowers looked cute kind of with uneven separated layers.  Here's a close up...
I DID use a T-ruler to make sure my squares were straight when I die cut the Simon stitched squares that show on the card.  I used a Papertrey Ink senitment from Keep it Simple Birthday II.  Here's another view of the flowers and squares...
An easy way to make these squares and flowers...stamp the Simon Swatch and right next to it, swipe the ink pad on the cardstock which you will use to punch/die cut your flowers.  The punch I used, EK Success small retro flower punch, allowed me to punch 3 flowers from the one swipe...PERFECT!!  I die cut the squares with a Simon Stitched Square die.
This was such a fun way to spend a Sunday morning!!!!  Thanks for visiting me today!! Hugs!! Lisa
